I'm Tametra.
Nice to meet ya!
My mission is to support safe, compliant, and sustainable childcare environments by empowering parents and providers with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions—while preventing costly compliance mistakes that can jeopardize programs, families, and futures.
T. L. B.
I’ve spent my life in early childhood education—38 years and counting—serving children, families, providers, and communities with intention and care. My work has taken me from hands-on classroom environments to leadership, policy, and compliance, giving me a full-spectrum understanding of what it truly takes to build and sustain quality childcare programs.
For 14 years, I’ve worked in educational policy and administration, helping organizations navigate the systems that shape childcare standards and accountability. I understand how policies are written, how they’re enforced, and how they impact real people doing real work every day.
Alongside that, I bring 21 years of licensing and compliance experience, supporting childcare providers through setup, inspections, corrective actions, and long-term operational success. Compliance isn’t just about passing inspections—it’s about protecting children, supporting staff, and creating programs that can stand the test of time.
TLB Enterprises was created to support providers and families with clarity, confidence, and integrity. Whether I’m guiding a new childcare program, strengthening an existing one, teaching parenting education, or supporting grant development, my goal is always the same: to help others do this work well and do it right.
This work is more than a profession for me—it’s a responsibility I take seriously and a mission I’m proud to lead.
MY APPROACH
My approach is education-first. I believe knowledge is the foundation of strong childcare programs and confident decision-making for both parents and providers.
I am compliance-focused, not to intimidate or overwhelm, but to ensure programs are protected, prepared, and positioned for long-term success. Compliance should feel manageable, not punitive.
I lead with support, not punishment. My goal is to guide, clarify, and strengthen—not to shame or fault. Everyone deserves clear information and the opportunity to do things the right way.
I provide clear, practical guidance without overwhelm, breaking complex requirements into understandable, actionable steps so you can move forward with confidence.
If you’re ready to move forward with confidence, I’m here to help.
