
PARENTING COURSES
BEFORE YOU REGISTER:

A one-time, nonrefundable $25 registration fee is required for each course unless otherwise stated.

Registration closes 72 hours before the scheduled course start date.

Onsite courses require a minimum of 30 registered participants.

Online courses require a minimum of 10 registered participants.

All required coursework must be completed before a certificate of completion can be issued.

Participants have 60 days to complete all course requirements. If the coursework is not completed within the 60-day period, the participant must restart the course.
Nurturing Parenting® Program
The Nurturing Parenting® Program (NPP) is an evidence-based initiative designed to strengthen family bonds through nurturing skills and positive discipline. In this post, we’ll explore what the Nurturing Parenting® Program is, what training it offers, and how it can help families raise their children in a healthy, supportive environment.

Stewards of Children® (2.5 CEU)
Darkness to Light’s flagship training, Stewards of Children®, teaches adults practical actions they can take to reduce instances of child sexual abuse in their organizations, families, and communities. Through interviews with a very diverse group of people with lived experience, experts, and treatment providers, Stewards of Children® is one of the only award-winning, evidence-informed, adult-focused child sexual abuse prevention trainings in the United States proven to increase knowledge and change behavior.

Parent and Teen Workshops
A program designed to allow parents and teens to learn together, helping them to find common ground for conversation and problem-solving. Provides a unique approach to strengthening our youth against the daily risks they face.
Length: 1 hour
6 courses
Cooperative Co-Parenting through separation or divorce.
This program helps coparents shield their children from parental conflict. Over 8 sessions (16 to 20 hours), parents learn to guide their children through the process of recovery while establishing a cooperative long-term relationship with the other parent.
